Having Problems Booting On MSI K9A2 CF
I'm having an issue Booting After installing openSuse.
I Am using a Phenom 9600 and 500gb sata drive. Is there drivers for my mainboard. Did not find any so far. and i get 4 fail 4 warns and 10 passes when i do a firmware check. One is for my CPU. I have the drivers from amd but do not know how to use it...The archive folder is called "linux_frequency_driver-2.10.0.tar.bz2" And the files in it i need are."powernow-k8.c", "powernow-k8.h" when i have burned to a CD using windows it says it cant find files. I have never used Linux and i want to. Tried Ubuntu without success. openSuse looks more promising. Can some one help me? I am willing to work with someone on a messenger.. if they like..if they need the files that would be easiest. PLZ let me know. Ask for anything you need. And we can set up a time this weekend. |
How did you install this? Most of the time you don't need a CPU driver, it's built into the kernel.
It sounds like it's asking for files to compile some drivers, but I really don't think you need it. What was the issue with ubuntu? Gimme a message if you want to use messenger. |
Sorry Right now My Rig is down...i will let you know if i get it going...think the MoBO is Dead.
