hard drive help me
 

when i instal suse linux i had 2 hard drive but now i have only one
my c: i use for windows and my d: i use for linux
but i can't see d: anymore in windows or linux. how can i fix this?



also how come in linux i can't use my 40g usb hard drive?
it can find it but i can't open it. for this how can i fix this?




plz tell me step by step i'm :newbie:

You won't see the linux drive by default from windows, as it has trouble understanding anything other than it's own filesystem. Under SuSE, you will probably see your windows partition under My Computer as something like "Data1", though note that you probably won't have write access to it. In short: Windows will see itself and nothing else, Linux will see itself, and have a directory/mount point for your windows drive (and anything else it can understand, which is pretty much anything).
