Question GYachE won't start in SuSE 11.3 64 bit, seems to crash

I need to be able to chat because I have loved ones internationally. I recently upgraded to SuSE 11.3 from 11.2 and the upgrade went beautifully, there was only one application that required my intervention during the upgrade, it prompted me what to do, I did it, and 11.3 is running beautifully.

In fact, it is running so well that, well, for the first time, in KDE and Kopete, my Microsoft VX-3000 webcam actually works. And Kopete is very nice, however: Kopete doesn't appear to support VOICE chat. GYachE/GYachI does, supposedly, but every time I try to start GYachI/E (I am confused about the name because I have seen both an E and an I used), it's window disappears within a 1/4 second of loading in KDE.

I don't know how to find, read, or identify any log file that there might be that I need, I'd like help with that for one thing.

I got the app off of Packman as an RPM using YaST and I even uninstalled and reinstalled (as far as I know how to) and still have no luck. I want to release the shackles of Windows as best as I can. Win7 isn't terrible, but I like KDE and Linux better and want to support it.

Can anyone offer any ideas, any help?
