gtkpod installation problem
When I run ./configure for gtkpod, I get the following error:
configure: error: *** Package gtk+-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gtk+-2.0.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'gtk+-2.0' found See `config.log' for more details. I'm relatively new to Linux, thus I have no clue in the world what to do to get this to work... I'm running SUSE 10.0 with KDE, and I have gtk+-2.8 installed. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me! |
Why don't you use the rpm package that comes with SUSE 10.0?
For compilation, you need the respective -devel package of the library (gtk-devel, gtk2-devel) |
Thanks for the help! It now turns out that I don't need gtkpod though... I can just use amaroK now that I got the iPod hard drive formatted as FAT32.
