GTK segfault. Possible dependencies missing?

I wasn't sure where to put this message, but since it worked in my Slackware, I decided it might be a potential SuSE problem.

Can anyone tell from these error messages if I'm missing any dependencies? I read somewhere that I might have to check my /etc/hosts and /etc/hostname files. /etc/hostname doesn't exist, however.

I read this [url=]thread[/url, which describes a similar problem, and because I didn't have wxBase, I upgraded to the new wxGTK which supposedly makes wxBase unnecessary.

(mindless:16663): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_entry_set_text: assertion `GTK_IS_ENTRY (entry)' failed

(mindless:16663): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_editable_get_chars: assertion `GTK_IS_EDITABLE (editable)' failed
Segmentation fault
