Getting wing commander game working in wine
 

I've been having trouble getting this old game wing commander Kilrathi saga to work in suse 10.2. Whenever I try running wing commander 3 I just get a black screen. I don't have cedega or want to buy it, is there anyone who would know how to get the kilrathi saga version of WC3 to work in Wine?

I should add that the game loads, but it does not look well I still see parts of the kde desktop, and the mouse cursor flies upwards and I can't bring it down
