Fresh Suse 10.1 install: Apache2 doesnt start
Hi,
When I go Code:
apache2ctl start Code:
httpd2: Syntax error on line 185 of /etc/apache2/httpd.conf: Could not open configuration file /etc/apache2/sysconfig.d/include.conf: No such file or directory My Httpd.conf file: Code:
# |
Above line 185, it says:

If the file is empty or not there, you can try commenting out line 185. |
I believe SUSE 10.1 apache starts with either:
rcapache2 start or /usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl start also, make sure you are in root/administrator. Just run this and see what happens then run ps -e to see if httpd is running It looks like your start script is wrong. hate to see you go through so much trouble only to have made a simple error. Good Luck |
if you're looking for that...
as root, "apache2ctl start" or service apache2 start or /etc/rc.d/apache2 start |
