Error Message from "Online Update Configuration"

Yesterday reinstalled openSUSE 10.3 (Gnome). When I try to run "Online Update Configuration" I get a message saying "No update server could be added to your configuration." I got this message yesterday and am still getting it today. Is everything OK? I was able to do this on my previous installation.

tried it.... and got:
# zypper -v ar http://suse.inode.at/opensuse/update/10.3/ update
Verbosity: 1
Non-option program arguments: 'http://suse.inode.at/opensuse/update/10.3/' 'update'
Initializing Target
* Adding repository 'update'
Problem transferring repository data from specified URL:
History:
- Curl error for 'http://suse.inode.at/opensuse/update/10.3/repodata/repomd.xml':
Error code:
Error message: couldn't connect to host
- Error trying to read from http://suse.inode.at/opensuse/update/10.3/
Please, check whether the specified URL is accessible.

And of course this site is perfectly accessible. So looks like a curl problem, any suggestions?
