DVDs play from auto-mount menu, but not from kaffeine
I have just upgraded to OpenSuse 10.2 and I am having a strange problem with playing dvds. I have all the necessary libraries installed, and when I put a dvd into a drive, the auto-mounter (hal daemon?) gives me a set of options. I can select "Play dvd with kaffeine", and it plays just fine. But if I click "stop" in kaffeine, and then "play" again, it refuses to play, producing this error from xine:
01:31:37: xine: cannot find input plugin for MRL [dvd://0.0]
01:31:37: xine: input plugin cannot open MRL [dvd://0.0]
I also cannot go back to a DVD menu once it started playing - Kaffeine hangs for a very long time, and eventually says that it cannot access the dvd drive. Why would this happen, given that it can obviously access it the first time round?
