Dual Monitor in OpenSUSE 10 RC1

Hi,

I have a Raddeon VE and am trying to get dual monitor working. As it stands I am just getting a mirrored image in the second monitor.

I have read elsewhere that you have to add a second video card with the same specs in SAX2 in order to use the dual display mode. When I try to do this it seems that SAX2 has been changed, IE I cannot add a second adapter. Anyone have any tips?

OpenSUSE 10 RC1, first of all you must have the "tester" version of this, because the final version comes out on October 10th, so Sax2 might be unstable on there. But you are trying to set up a multihead configuration. Although it says you need more then one graphic device, that's if you don't have a dual monitor supported video card. If you have that, that would mean that it should work, now that you only see a mirrored view on the other monitor, that make me wonder if you have the correct drivers for your video card, or if you have the correct configuration.

It is the right driver, it just looks like they changed sax2 in the Opensuse release. Its not the same as in 9.3
