Dual Hardrive Booting suse 9.1 & XP

I have two hardrives, one with Suse 9.1, and on my other hardrive I have Windows XP, I'm getting tired of unhooking the xp hd when i want to use suse and I'm scared it might cause a short in the connector so what I want to do is, somehow make my computer boot windows which is on hda1 always, and when I tell it to, I want it to boot Suse 9.1, like makign a boot disk, start suse 9.1 when I want to use it. Can anyone help me out?

And, how do I make a boot disk in suse 9.1?

If you don't have a boot loader you could use grub to give you the choice everytime you boot, you can install it from yast or, as you said, you could create a boot floppy. you can also do this from yast. the floppy images you need are on the suse installation cd or you can download them via ftp.

There is an easy way to cheat and do the same thing. Most computers allow you to select which hard drive to boot from. On my computer it is the 'ESC' key. On others, it is the 'F3' key.
