driver for epson cx1500

I have bought in thailand a cx1500 and need the rpm for the same on SuSE.

I have it working on the cups cx42sx but the correct driver maybe better.

Anywhere, I can get the rpm's for epson for cups?

I note your query does not seem to have a reply and as I too am trying to find appropriate Install technique for both Printer & Scanner options ( Running Fedora core 3) I wondered if you had help Off Line or had indeed figured our something yourself. Optomistically !

I tried various drivers and have it working wit the CX42 driver, using cups.

This is not the best as it doesn't take into account the scanner but at least I can print.

No one else gave me help on the CX1500

Just wanted to add that C42SX driver worked on my Ubuntu Hoary with Foomatic/gimp-print-ijs driver. There were two other drivers, but only this worked.
