does the live CD see wireless networks?

hi all

I am not sure which distro I want to settle down with. so I am installing them and playing with them and moving on to the next one.. right now im using FC3 and its ok but i want to check out Suse 9.2.

the problem I have is I have a wireless connection to thien net. I have an emachines 6809 laptop with a broadcom g pci card.. will the live cd see this and use it to do the suse install?

thanks

I don't know but I'd say the easiest way to find out is just to try it. Since a Live CD won't write anything to your local drive, there's no risk that you'd disturb your existing setup.

Please post back with the results, assuming you do try it -- J.W.
