Do I need a graphics card to use the 3D desktop on SUSE 10.2

I have a winbook j4 laptop that is about 4 years old, I have been running SUSE 9.3 and now I want to test out SUSE 10.2 by doing a dual boot.

I want to try out the cool looking 3D desktop interface that is talked about in the SUSE 10.2 website.

Do I need a 3D graphics card to run this??

I am asking this because my laptop did not come with one of those.

please let me know.

If your card doesn't have 3D acceleration support, it's not going to work.

but I can use it in the regular mode right on my laptop?

I guess I will try out the 3D feature on my desktop computer instead.

thanks for the information.
