dial out using Yast2?? modem difficulties...

Hi folks..

I am running suse 10.0 in TEXT mode (probably a bad idea, since im a little shaky at linux). I configured a usr 56k faxmodem pro in yast2. It shows up in yast without a problem, but I have no idea how to dial out... What command actually makes the settings in yast proform?

again, I need a command in text. On another board some clown told me to just click on kconnect...

thanks, I really need help,
gd

In the GUI environment, the kinternet tool dials out via wvdial. You can run wvdial from the command-line.

At the command prompt, type 'man wvdial' without quotes and press enter to see the manual page for wvdial.
