Desk freezes on 9.1 (amd64)
 

Is there any known problem with SuSE 9.1 as my desktop freezes
sometimes and all I can do is a power down to recover, thereby loosing any
edits i might have been making. Doesn't seem to be time related can be an hour or 24hrs?

amd64 with ASrock board. (Doen't do it when I use Mandrake10 amd64 version, only with SuSE single user and 9.1 professional)

Run memtest86 to test ram. Defective or marginal power supplies are also notorious for causing 'freezing' behavior.
