Deleting packages that smart has downloaded


Hi all

I have a lot of RPM files in /var/lib/smart/packages. I am wondering if there would be any problem in delete the rpm files?

ps. I am using opensuse 10.2

Once they are installed, you shouldn't need the packages any longer. You can archive them (to save download time if you need them again), or you can delete them.

Next time you use smart to download and install, look for an option to 'delete package after installation'.
