Delete old update files left by Yast/YOU?
Hi all,
I tried the search the forum for this answer but failed - although I am pretty somebody must have asked this before. I did not set Yast/YOU in my SuSE 10.0 to automatically delete used patch/update files. Now I have a directory /var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt/i386/update/10.0/patches packed with old files and I could really use som more free space. I would assume they can be safely deleted [rm] but because they are owned by root it does make me a bit uneasy. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any help will be much appreciated. Alex |
Just move them to another directory first or tarball them on a CD if you're really pinched.
