How do I delete a posting?

How do I delete a posting? For some reason I could not find my postings until I followed a bookmark. Perhaps I'm going blind in my old age. ;)

Posts on LQ are only deleted on very rare occasions and it can only be done by the site administrator.

If I followed a book mark of my posting....would that bring it back if it were delete?

david_ross 02-19-2005 02:52 PM

Not if it was deleted but I seriously doubt if it would have been deleted.

You can search for all of your posts from the button below your posts or via your profile page.

I don't supose you know anything about why I can't get my DVD to boot . ;)

I assume you were looking for the thread you already started on this? It would be better to continue there where some responses are already available:

SILVERPENGUIN 02-19-2005 03:13 PM

Ummm..errr....Can you please delete this posting now?

acid_kewpie 02-19-2005 04:02 PM

don't worry about it... we don't delete threads without real good reason.... and there's no real good reason to delete this... besides, it may well help someone in your situation in the future
