We have amelioration

The first error is disapear.

But now I have new error message:

And also I guest I must delete the bad link I created by :
ln -s /lib/modules/2.6.11.4-20a-default/build /usr/src/linux-2.6.11.4- 20a

I dont know how to delete a symbolic link?

u delete a symnlink in MC just like if it was a normal file
You seam to lack the fixdep file which is quite strange for me anyway i'll send u my fixdep files from my 2.6.11 kernel by email and it should be the same

/usr/src/linux/scripts/basic/fixdep
/usr/src/linux/scripts/basic/fixdep.c
/usr/src/linux/scripts/basic/.fixdep.cmd

u have to put them in

i think there''s soething wrong with kernel source package in ur suse

Still the same error

I copied all the files you send me in /usr/src/linux/scripts/basic

And chmod 755 on all these files

But I'm still getting this error:

to generate .config u have to execute

make menuconfig

in /usr/src/linux

and on exit he'll ask you if u want to save ur configuration- if u say yes it'll generate .config

hmmm i can see Your kernel sources are a bit hmmm fckedup - i'll send u my ftp so u can get whatever files u lack from my 2.6.11 kernel (probably all scripts directory)

i think ur kernel source rpm is faulty , i would double check if u really have this kernel source rpm installed - if u r sure pls email me the dir.txt file created by the following command

find /usr/src/linux-2.6.11.4-20a >dir.txt

i would try make with kinclude now and if this dosn't work i would install another kernel +kernel sources because if You had to download the files from my sources it means ur kernel source is corrupted

I will try to reinstall SUSE 9.3 from 0 next week-end

I first did an upgrade over my SUSE 9.1

May be it will help me!
