Converting from FC5 to SuSE

Hello, I would first say to make a long story short on why I'm converting to SuSE is that my FC5 discs for some strange reason screwed up on the linux installation and my kernel wasn't set up right. That isn't the problem though. I should state that I'm duelbooting windows and FC5 atm.

The questions I have are this.
1) Can I get grub (which came with FC5) to duel boot with SuSE?
2)... if so what do I need to do
3) If I can't use grub that came with FC5, do I need to do anything to my MBR in order that I can install LILO over GRUB?

I'm a newbie to linux and im just asking these questions as a precaution.

Once you delete FC5 you cannot boot into Suse because you'll have erased the grub config files. Suse however, will detect Windows during installation and will let you boot Windows from its grub menu.

Wait, SuSE has grub? I thought it only had LILO?

Suse uses grub by default. The number of distros that uses LILO by default has been dwindling over the years.

you can opt for lilo instead - when installing - should you wish
