Question configuring network in opensuse tru yast

hi im a little bit confused. . . i installed opensuse 10.3 on Vmware and i am having a hard time configuring the network with the use of yast. . isnt that i should accept the default settings?

honestly i did not experience it when i configured my VL (in vmware also) using VASM. . .

but why having the hard time of opensuse?
