CONFIG_4KSTACK disabling

Hi all,

I have openSuSE 10.2 installed on my Asus laptop.
My USB 56K Trust modem is driven via a Linuxant driver, and the internet connection, sooner or later, is crashing the system all the time.

I have read that this might be because of the CONFIG_4KSTACK kernel option: it limits the stack access to a size which is not enough for the driver to work.

is this correct, in your opinion? And in such case, how can I set it up correctly or disable it in openSUSE10.2?

Thanx
