click problem & avi problem

how do i change the one click open to two click open as windows does in suse pro 9.2..?
cant play compressed avi files which divx xvid codec used... only plays audio..
pls help

hi there

for the click problem
i use kde so i can find utils in the control center menu

also in what player did u try that .avi files

try xine or mplayer
also there are some codecs at mplayer's site
that will also help u
