Changing Built in VNC Resolution

Hello,

I am using suse 10.3 and connect to it using TightVNC with the remote administration option on the 10.3 box turned on. Regardless of the resolution I try to connect with from the remote system, it always comes in at 1024x768. Is there a way to configure remote desktop on the suse box to default to a larger resolution? Or is there some way using get it to use the resolution the client requests?

I can't find any SUSE specific threads on this question.

Regards,

Randy.

When a user starts the vncserver program it can use the -geometry option to set the display size. For example, to start an instance on display "1" with a geometry of 1152x864:
Code:
vncserver :1 -geometry 1152x864
Was that what you were looking for?
