Question Can't access floppy from OpenSuse 10.0 with regular user

Greetings
I've recently installed OpenSuse 10.0 in a machine and I'm having problems while trying to access files within a floppy.
When I try to access the floppy with a regular user (both from KDE or from a text terminal) I receive a "no inserted media" message, like there was no floppy disk at the drive.
If I do the same with root, I can access it without any problem.
I checked fstab config and /dev/fd0 file permissions with a Suse 9.3 machine (which can access the floppy without any problem) and everything seens to be in place.

What could be the problem? I appreaciate the attetion

Could you post your fstab file, perhaps?

Try:

/dev/fd0 /media/floppy subfs noauto,fs=floppyfss,users,procuid,nodev,nosuid 0 0

Adding the group (users) should let you access it. Removing the sync lets you write to it in less than a week!
