Can't get S-video out, ATI, Suse Pro 9.2

I've got Suse Linux 9.2/Professional and 3 (yes: 3) ATI RV280 5964 video cards.

Suse auto-detected all three cards, and I can use a normal PC monitor and VGA output with any of them.

But I need to send S-Video output to a pair of Zenith 27" monitors.

I've looked on the web (including sf.gatos, ATI, and - of course - Linuxquestions.org). Lots of information - but nothing I've tried has worked.

QUESTIONS:
1. Has anybody successfully configured S-video output with ATI 9200-compatible video cards on SuSE Linux?

2. Were you able to do it with the SuSE drivers, or did you need to download additional drivers?

3. What were your XF86Config settings?

Thank you *very* much in advance .. PSM

Here are some links that may be of some help... Seems you may need to install the "fglrx" drivers...
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/sup...8.12.10/README

Here is a similar forum post that may help too:

What fun!

installed ATI's fglrx and still no joy...

Thanx for the incredibly fast response!

I did the following after checking your links:

1. Went to http://www.ati.com and downloaded their fglrx6.8.0 driver for XOrg 6.8 (after running their "check.sh" script to determine that was the appropriate version).

2. Installed ATI's RPM with Yast2

3. Tried doing a test with Sax2 => NO-GO

4. Rebooted => STILL NO-GO

I'll definitely keep you posted what happens. And thank you again!
