Question Can't get NIC working in NLD 9 (SuSE 9.1)

I just built a computer and installed Windows XP and NLD 9.
Specs:
Motherboard: Intel D915GEV
Processor: P4 3.4 GHz
Hard Drive: SATA 160 GB
Memory: 2 GB
NIC, Audio, Video: Onboard.

The install was fine, of both OS'. The problem I run into is the audio and NIC don't work. Plus the video is cripled, but I think that is normal. (No 3D support)

In Windows all of the hardware works.

The funny thing about this is, NLD can see the NIC, but wont configure it.

I have tried updateing the kernel to a later version and then installing the drivers off of Intel's page.
The kernel update worked, but the driver install didn't.

I really don't know what to do now. Can anyone point me in the right direction of what I can do to remedy this issue? Thank you for you time, in advance.
