Can't change my resolution!

Hi!,

I'm trying to get better resolution in Suse. I'm writing Horisontal : 30-65 and Vertical 55-150, with a resolution at 1024*768 @ 60hz. The problem is after I have configured the X conf. file, when I'm saving, I close all applications, and it turns back to the same resolution as always. What is wrong?

In "System"-->"Yast" you should find all that you need, but in some cases (tipical when monitor is not well recognized) you may need to disable OTHER resolution(s) under the desired one.

Anyway, "to begin from begin"... What is the resolution (and refresh rate) that you would set?

I would like to set the resolution: 1024*768, but it seems it won't work. I better try some more
