blogs as a source of info?

Apart from looking on the novell site and linuxquestions, I wonder if blogs are a good source of practical information about linux?

I haven't really tried yet, but its a thought I've just had.

It depends on who is maintaining the blog and also on the level of knowledge they have. On the Novell site, at least, you have the experts On LQ, you have the combined knowledge of almost 200,000 people. With a blog you are largely reliant on just one person. And you may have to wait a while intil the blog has an article which is relevant to you.

thanks. I guess sticking to the traditional channels of info is probably a lot safer.
