Beside that, please note that this forum is not only read by English people

And yes, I am aware of the rule (quoted from http://www.linuxquestions.org/linux/rules.html):

To give you wise instructions, it's better to know more about your system.

1) What are your exact distribution and version ?
2) Please send full output of following commands:

uname -a
ls -l /boot
ls -l /proc/config.gz
ls -l /usr/src

I have read some docs on how-to install a new or updated kernel on Suse but am not able to try as I do not have one myself. So sorry about that but I prefer not to give you bad advises, which could put your system at risk.

Hopefully someone else will be able able to help you on that.
