ATI Driver Help

I feel kind of dumb asking this, since I can't manage to figure this out on my own, but I really have no clue where to go and I'm hoping you guys can help me out. Alright, here goes.

I've installed SuSe 10.0 x86-64, and I've got an ATI v3100 graphics card.

I'm trying to configure multiple monitors for the Big Head Desktop, with different resolutions.
YaST doesn't seem to want to recognize two monitors in the hardware monitor, and I can't manage to get anything except for clones whenever I try to configure fglrxconfig. I've seriously tried everything I can think of. Is there some guide out there to fglrxconfig or some way to get this to work? I can't even manage to match resolutions on the monitors (smaller, 1024x768) and get them to extend one desktop.

Forgot, wanted to add, I've installed the proprietary drivers from ATI and built my own and installed through SaX2 but neither works. It won't even detect OpenGL support.

Any help anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Josh

From what I've been reading this may be an issue specific to 10.0. Is that the case for anyone? I haven't tried this setup in 9.3 yet, but I may try that. If I can figure this whole shebang out I'll post what I got for future reference.
