Asterisk and CD-ROM issue with 10.2?

I've got 2 different machines that I can replicate the problem on now. With the current batch of patches (minus the kernel patch that breaks my data partitions), I'm unable to boot up with my Digium card in the computer (for Asterisk). The computer stops booting at the "Uniform CD Driver"... (If I don't patch the computer, it's fine with the card) Anyone identify the patch yet that's causing this?

Update. It *does* make it past "Uniform CD driver", but it can take up to half an hour! Also of note, "shutdown -h" doesn't work, post patches and the system also loses the network settings everytime it's rebooted. Sigh. Guess I'll be reformatting and making sure to NOT apply any patches!
