"An error occurred during the installation"

I am installing OpenSuse 10.2 on a virtual machine on Windows XP.
The installtion goes fine until I choose "New Installation" and click on NEXT.
Then a red window pops up and says "An error occurred during the installation".
I've installed Ubuntu the same way and it worked fine.
I remember getting this error with Suse even on a real machine, I think it had to do with the graphic display which I semi-solved by installing in text mode, but that caused other problems.

How can I get past this error?

Full screen shots of how I have installed up to this point are here:

Thanks in advance!

So correct me if im wrong but this is at the very start of the installation? Stage 6 of your screen shots? My first guess would be that are you sure the burnt media is good? i mean cd or dvd and what speed did you burn it at? This would seem possible if you got the same error on a stand alone machine?

Just had to try it again.

I just tried it again and it worked, was some kind of one-time glitch.
This is strange, because the "CD" is really not a "CD" but an .ISO file that is connected to the virtual machine.
But I have received this installing Suse many times in the past on real CDs, and always from CDs that I get in magazines.
I have never gotten an error like this installing from Fedora, Ubuntu, etc.
