ADSL problem on SuSE 9.2!

Hello,

I just installed SuSE9.2 Pro, it looks very nice.

But I get a ADSL connection problem, I go to Yast and configure the ADSL connection with my username & password and DNS address.
The connection seems OK and my IP address is allocated, but when I open browser, I can not visit any site, the error message is "Unknown host" and I can not "ping" any site as well (Firewall is turned off!).

Anyone has an solution for that?

Do you have a pci or usb adsl connection?

Or do you have a router/modem connection. If the latter then for Suse you need to simply make a network connection only - as it is the router/modem that makes the internet connection. Router/modems are usually set up by using a browser window and typing in your ISP log-in codes

Did you set up your DNS Servers on your system ?
