A few issues

I installed suse 10.2 a few days ago. I really like the feel of the whole package. I need to continue to work in windows for all of my photography work. I used the scrip for dual booting the system by adding the line as suggest on the opensuse website. But it does not seem to work.

The second issue is in regards to the RPM files. The compiler reads them fine but keep telling me that it has discrepancies. Not sure what it means. I am trying to use the other tyopes of files but I cant figure out what to do with them they have been downloaded.

Thanks for you help

what command are you running to 'install' the RPM file? i think with opensuse it handles all dependencies.

The dependencies are automatically resolved if you use the package manager and the repositories. Just grabbing an .rpm file and installing will not find other needed packages.

When installing, you should have been prompted for the bootloader setup. Do you recall what you selected?
Is Windows on the system now?
Please post the output of "fdisk -l" (run as root)
