9.1 Personal .. Gnome?


Is there anyway I can install gnome on Suse 9.1 personal? Another question on my dialup if i leave the computer for like 10 minutes and come back im disconnected is there anyway I can set it up to where the connection doesn't timeout?

You can always go into Yast, and search for the Gnome-desktop package (just searching for gnome will return a dozen or so other related packages, eg. themes, icon sets and so on that you might want).

Regarding the auto disconnection, set the time out in Kinternet (I assume that this is what you're using ?) to zero seconds, rather than 600.
