64bit SUSE - doesn't list any packages to install on install DVD

I have little experience installing any Linux, and have googled and read forums all day to see if I can find an answer.

I downloaded the 9.3 64bit DVD .iso file, about 4.1GB, burned to DVD+RW with Nero.

I boot from the DVD and start the install;
1. Get to the screen where it sets up the configuration (for grub?) and under 'software' there are no packages listed. When I show details there are no packages at all to install.

2. Tried installing the 5 CD set (32 bit) and there are packages and installation proceeds.

Question - do I somehow have a bad .iso? I have tried to download the file from various mirrors but they are all coming up at 184MB... so I am fairly sure those files aren't complete. Any clues?

Thanks,
Troy

ps - I have a 64bit AMD64 3200+ chip, ASUS K8v SE board 512 MB memory, installing onto an already partitioned drive (main and swap partitions set)

Looking through one of the SuSE mirrors it appears that to do a 64-bit install you have to do it using the ftp install option the iso image is just a boot disk that will connect to a SuSE mirror and get the packages/package list from the web. What it sounds like is you may have gotten that iso. To do the install write down the address to a SuSE mirror then reboot with the disk, when it gets to the boot menu look down at the bottom you should see an option for installation medium change it to ftp or http depending on the site you wrote down, the it should ask you for the site and path, once thats in go ahead and run the install, this time you should see packages you can install, if not than I would say it's very likely you have a bad download.
