I'm using (Happily) 10.0 on production machine. I tried 10.1 on a laptop and another desktop --but gave up - I didn't have time to mess around too much and the horrors with YAST were too much.
However I've downloaded the alpha 10.2 and it actually installed correctly on BOTH computers --detected all the hardware and RAN --OK I haven't tried DVD playing yet but that's not a horrendous issue.
I don't recommend using an alpha for serious work --but so far it looks STREETS ahead of 10.1 --maybe SUSE / Novell learned from their 10.1 fiasco.
Incidentally to me SUSE 9.2 and 10.0 were both as stable as a rock -- I've learned with SUSE to avoid like the plgue any .X release where.X is an odd number. (9.3 was also rubbish as far as I could remember compared with 9.2).
I'll try firing up VMWARE on 10.2 and see if I can bring up a Windows XP guest.
10.2 looks as if things might be finally going OK at last.
Please however release a DVD ISO for download --I'm sick of copying CD images and then having to make a DVD out of 5 or 6 CD ISO's.
