Thumbs down 10.0 => pc slow-down, possible reason!?

over the last two days i barely used the pc, just started it to write e-mails. but both yesterday and today i recognise that the mouse arrow won't follow my movements at once, i type much faster than the letters are being displayed in this forum and i takes ages to start a program. the only program running before these to first errors occur is firefox and i installed "fasterfox" not so very long ago. but that is the only change i did. can this little add-on cause such a reaction?? what else could be the problem; are there viruses for suse linux 10.0??

regards & happy labour day!

I've had this problem as well. Mine was caused by not having the correct video drivers, and by having my xorg.conf improperly set to a really low refresh rate.

No, suse has no viruses at this moment.
