[SUSE&VNC]How can i remote desktop of same session...?

my lab'pc is using SUSE 10 and the default tightvnc.
and i am running my simulation program which may be 20 hours long or more...

now i want to remote control that pc, to see the status of my program.
but when i use the vncviewer to connect it...
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:1
i always get a new session!!! totally new desktop!!!

i have to monitor my program 2~3 times per hour.

Ditch vnc and use NX (http://nomachine.com) or freeNX instead!

OH!! thank you very much!
it seems much better than vnc...i am installing it...

but i think there would be some more problems because i always login as root...
root user may be not allowed..>_< ?...

btw, is it impossible to use VNC to remote same session ?
i find some parameters like "nevershared" "alwaysshared", don't they make sense? T.T ?
