[SuSE 9.1 Personal] Mozilla Firefox libpopt.so.0

I am trying to install Mozilla Firefox on my SuSE 9.1 Personal. I downloaded the .rpm from SuSE's FTP and clicked "Install Package with YaST. Then it comes with a window saying Mozilla Firefox need libpopt.so.0! Where can I get that file? Or can I ignore the dependency..

use yast

in yast, start "install and remove software", mark the "gives" box , the description box and search for the library

Thanks for your reply!

I did what you said I should do and YaST found one package called "popt".
But when I select "Update", it says I have to downgrade "samba-client", "yast2-core" and "yast2-packagemanager" to older versions... :(

Or I can choose to ignore the Dependency Conflicts... I'll try to downgrade them first :)

OK I downgraded the three packages, but now YaST2 won't work properly. I can start YaST, but it won't run any modules like Online Update, or View Start-up Log etc etc... :( Any help on this?

Okay, I downloaded the .rpm's of the two yast packages I downgraded from the suse ftp and now everything seems to be working again..

The Firefox RPM now installs fine, ran "xhost +", and everthing OK!

Can you still remember where to download the libpopt.so.0 package?

As you can read, I downloaded that library using Yast, the package called popt. Go find! :D (and Google is maybe your friend)

Or you can try Ubuntu.
