Yast2 software update on 8.2? Bring in latest KDE 3.3.1 updates
Hi there,
I wonder what I'm doing wrong.
I have updated my SuSE 8.2 with KDE 3.3 and later with 3.3.1 "relatively" successful, using Yast2, adding the ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_8.2/base/yast-source as an additional source.
Then I try to install software and it worked for the first time. However, I have a hard time getting subsequent updates.
For example, currently the qt3 lib is on the server as version 3.3.3-31 (from 11/12/04). However, Yast claims the version installed on my machine is 3.3.3-24 and the version available should be 3.3.3-15 (from 10/07/04)
What am I doing wrong?
I was able to get around this, when I upgraded from 3.3.0 to 3.3.1 by disabling ftp.suse.com and adding another mirror to the list. However, disabling or enabling does not work this time.
Help from an Yast2 expert appreciated.

Thanks dth1,
for your reply. Unfortunately I do have SuSE 8.2 and there I can't find anything that is called "Refresh". No button, no context menu, etc.
I'm using Yast2 from the Control Center, but I assume this does not make the difference.

Thanks dht1,
I appreciate your help.
However, I hate to report, that I don't have an "edit" button in Yast2 under SuSE 8.2. I can see it on my 9.1 installation though. But there, I don't have the issue in the first place.
Anybody else an idea?
Thanks

partial "solution"
Hi all,
Just wanted to report, that I found a partial solution.
If I add a new source for the KDE supplemental, then I'm able to upgrade to the latest additions.
So lets hope I'm not running out of mirrors, anytime soon.
