Are we allowed to attach rpms for people to download? I have the 9.1 cds and I can easily attach the rpm for gcc. None of the SUSE mirrors appear to be working for the 9.1 files.

There should be a file in there called README or Readme.linux or Readme-install , whatever...
vi the Readme file and follow the directions, I cant help you if I cant see what you have, you need to tell us what you have in that dir...

I was having problems with the mirrors but it appears to be working now. Go here:

ftp://mirror.mcs.anl.gov/pub/suse/i386/9.1/suse/i586/

and download gcc and any other files you need, like make.

Install the rpm as root:
Code:
rpm -ivh gcc-3.3.3-41.i586.rpm
You might want to run YOU after installing this to see if there's any updates.
