Hi, I'm running SuSe 10.0 and I'm using Gnome. I made an update of Gnome and KDE using these repositories:
mirrors.kernel.org/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_10.0/yast-source
mirrors.kernel.org/suse/i386/supplementary/GNOME/update_for_10.0/yast-source
(the update I made was "All in this list-> Update if newer version available")

and now when I click on Desktop->Yast, I'm prompted with the root password, I enter it and nothing happen... To get into Yast, I have to open a terminal, become root and type /sbin/yast2

I don't know what to do...

You have changed your filesystem security level from 'easy local'
to 'secure'.
I can't remember where you go to to change this back again.

I logged out and rebooted my computer and now I can't even loggin (neither my username nor the root works). I enter the login and the password and 4 seconds later, I'm back at the login screen. When I try with the root, it says that my last session lasted less that 10 seconds and it takes my back to the login screen !

Any thoughts ?
