XGL+Compiz and Gaming


I run openSUSE 10.2 and XGL+Compiz on an nvidia 7800gtx. Will i be able to play opengl games with decent performance or will i need to disable XGL+Compiz?

From my past research you have to disable xgl and compiz unfortunatly. theres is a way to switch between xgl and xorg in your login but i really didnt like how he did it and i havent found an alternative to changing either.
