I am using Suse 9.2 with KDE 3.3 and I install the KWiFiManager to manager wireless connections.

The reason that I use KWiFi is I want to switch network profiles in different location like at home and in school.

But I find that, when I set the config in the KWiFi. The config will not be saved!
I am thinking, will that be the reason of using Yast to set the wireless device. So KWiFi cannot manager the config? If so, how can I fix it? Or are there any other software / way to help me switch the profiles in different location?

Probably not what you want to here, but since your post is now on the 3rd page of "Posts with 0 answers", here you go:

In your home directory, do a little script and called them something like:
school
work
home


It should contain

#!/bin/bash
iwconfig eth0 essid YOURNET key 0265a25s25d43


I probably didn't put enough characters in the key, but you get the idea. then just run whichever script for the network you are going to be on. I assumed your wireless is eth0, but it could be eth1.
