Wireless Keyboard & Mouse (Sansun SN-307)

Hi,

I want to test a new hardware with my Suse9.1 Pro (Wireless Keyboard & Mouse (Sansun SN-307)

Image from Keyboard/Mouse: w w w .klick-shopper.de/bug/15669.jpg
(1 USB-Receiver, wireless mouse/keyboard):

In the KDE control center > Hardware-Information I can see under USB eg the keyboard like this:

Screenshot: w w w .h-trader.de/temp/desktop_WirelessKeyboard.jpg

What do I have to do, that I can use this keyboard/mouse (until now it doesn't work).

Thanks

Sorry for broken links, but I can't post IMG-BB-Codes because of <5 threads

Yes....

The keyboards works now but not the mouse!

In the suseplugger I can see it under "Mouse" but if i "insert" it nothing happens.

I also made a new entry in the XF86Config:
Code:
Section "InputDevice"
  Driver "mouse"
  Identifier "Mouse[2]"
  Option "Buttons" "5"
  Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
  Option "Name" "Autodetection"
  Option "Protocol" "explorerps/2"
  Option "Vendor" "Sysp"
  Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection
...but the mouse do nothing

Have you tried with the mouse identifier as
"Mouse[0]"

Wait, I think I found a solution, if you use a USB to PS2 adapter so that you use your ps2 port instead of your usb it should fix the problem, and using your ps2 port eats up less CPU power, you can probably find the adapter just about anywhere for a couple of bucks. Hope this helped

Hi, I've got today a sansun mouse SN-213 and I can't install it under suse 9.2. So maybe if it's not the same hardware - how did you managed to make it run?

Just curios... I bought that keyboard/mouse for my brother. I wanted to test the hardware on my pc (Suse 9.1) before I went to my brother. And I couldn't get the mouse working on my pc.

Then tested it on the pc from my brother (also Suse 9.1) and "did nothing" just plugged in the usb cable and it worked (after "syncronisation of the "keys" -click on the reciever then on mouse, you know-)

Yeah, it worked here too. Just needed to click the synchronization keys at the USB-Stick and at the mouse. :-)
