windows printer from Linux box problem

Setting up Linux to access a printer on my Windows XP box works if I specify an IP address in the hostname of print server such as 192.168.1.5

However as I am using DHCP I can't guarantee that this IP address is valid next time I want to use the printer.

If I put the computer name instead of the IP address it doesn't work.

Any help in avoiding having to use a specific IP address.

Thanks
