why does my computer shutdown instead of showing a login screen???


i just installed suse10 with no problems untill the final reeboot. then eveytime i try and start the computer it shuts down just befor the login screen should apear.....

anyone know a solution???

Did you try to boot into single user mode and analyse the log files?

i dont get the chance to boot to single user mode. it shuts down before i can do anything.

all i could do is install, boot normal, or boot failsafe
